1. The service
ThoughtBounce provides thought-capture applications for Windows, Android, and the web, and an optional account service that syncs your content between your devices. By creating an account or using the apps, you agree to these terms.
2. Beta status
ThoughtBounce is in beta. Features may change, break, or be removed. Keep your own backups using the built-in export tools. We work hard to protect your data, but during beta you should not treat the sync service as your only copy of anything important.
3. Your content
- Your thoughts are yours. We claim no ownership of your content.
- You grant us only the limited rights needed to store and transmit your content so the service can function (e.g., holding synced data so your other devices can download it).
- You can export or delete your content at any time.
4. Acceptable use
Don't use ThoughtBounce to violate the law, distribute malware, attempt to breach the service or other users' data, or resell the service without permission. Accounts are for a single person.
5. Subscriptions and refunds
- Free features stay free. Premium is billed monthly or annually via our payment processor.
- You can cancel any time; access continues until the end of the paid period.
- If ThoughtBounce isn't for you, request a full refund within 14 days of first purchase.
6. Disclaimers
- The service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law.
- ThoughtBounce is a personal organization tool — not medical, mental-health, legal, or financial advice.
- AI-generated suggestions can be wrong. Review them before acting on them.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
8. Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms; where reasonable, we'll warn you first and provide a way to export your data.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
